What Makes Heal For Life Foundation Different?
Our healing centres are run completely by survivors of childhood trauma and abuse, who are qualified and trained in helping fellow survivors.
Heal for Life Foundation
This is something that is unique to Heal for Life Foundation, and uncommon throughout the rest of the world. Survivors are offered a safe space to embark on the healing journey. Everyone at the centre knows and relates to their pain. No one is ever truly alone.
The Heal for Life Foundation is a non-profit charity organization. We offer a variety of solutions to those struggling with problems stemming from childhood trauma. We focus on supporting our guests while they take part in the healing process. The main centre is located right outside of Cessnock, which can be found in the Hunter Valley area of NSW in Newcastle. The centre is on a vast plot of rural land expanding for 340 acres. The main centre is split up into centres for the different healing programs we offer: Adult, Children, Youth, and Private. We also put on programs in the UK, West Australia, as well as the Philippines. Psychologists and counsellors are available to provide mental health support services in the Newcastle NSW Trauma Centre.

if not worse, effects than sexual and physical abuse. The type trauma you have endured doesn’t matter, it was on going or a single event, and it still impacted your life. We consider all trauma valid and worthy of healing. We never want our guests to feel deserving of healing because their trauma wasn’t this or that.Community Living. We value living as a community healthily, functionally, and lovingly. All participants and the facility come together in all of the different facets of the healing week. These experiences include preparing and sharing food, community work, and spiritual reflections.
We value a holistic approach when it comes to healing i.e. mind, body, and spirit. We find it necessary for every individual to have control of their healing experience—they know themselves best.Brenda Ballast
Out healing programs are founded on the most recent neuroscience research. We’ve combined this with impactful therapeutic modalities attained from personal experience. Everyone who created the program is a survivor.John Doe
